Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Red's a little tall for a Japanese(-ish) kid--so probably about average or slightly shorter than everyone else--and has the kind of faint muscle you get not from working out, but from an active life. He's definitely not cut, but he's healthy-looking and fairly athletic.
2. How old is he?
Well, I aged him up to 18 for Incensed, but before that I took him from when he was probably about fourteen.
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
Red's posture's pretty good--upright, but relaxed. He leans forward a lot, though, because he's a very physically expressive guy and that shows his interest in whatever's in front of him. His hands are usually visible, too, contributing to his confident, open demeanor.
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
He walks and bikes all over the place and spends most of his life outdoors, so he's mostly in really good condition. The one thing is some residual weakness in his wrists and ankles from being frozen in a really powerful ice trap. He's mostly cured after a dip in some mystical hot springs, but it acts up a little under cold conditions.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
He's not exactly graceful, but he's very comfortable in his skin and with movement in general. He's got a good sense of his own strength and where to put his feet when he walks. So not fluid or elegant by any means, just easy and assured. More like karate than kung fu, I guess, if that analogy makes sense to anyone other than me.

Red doesn't think about this stuff really, but he's got sort of this half-cute, half-handsome charm about him. It's the hero thing. Confidence is attractive, he's toned and fit from his outdoorsy lifestyle, and he smiles a lot. He's enough of a natural heartthrob that he's got at least two girls--one of whom is older and also a Gym Leader--mooning over him.

He's probably reasonably tan, and clear-skinned to represent THE PURITY OF PALLET TOWN, AW YEAH.

Black, with underlying reddish brown in the right light. It's really thick and coarse and anime-spiky.
9. What color are his eyes?
A very vibrant and variegated red, so they could look brown or even golden depending on the light.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
11. What are his chief tension centers?
He clenches his fists a lot and grits his teeth. His lower back probably gets kind of knotty from leaning forward so much. His shoulders usually look pretty relaxed, though, so I'm gonna say those are fine.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
Weird Pokeworld clothes are a go! Red seems to go for simple, casual, brightly-colored (usually red) wear over a standard T-shirt-jeans-sneakers combo. As for variety...it really seems he just. Wears. The same outfit every day. Like the grossest human being.
As of the Yellow Chapter he also totally ties a bandanna around his leg. What's that all about? What is fashion? Red, look at your life, look at your choices.

Yeah, they're just a part of who he is. Maybe literally, since HE NEVER SEEMS TO TAKE THEM OFF TO WASH THEM...

At home, he ditches the odd outer shirt and just lounges around in his T-shirt, jeans, and socks.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Probably boxers, though I can totally see him going commando from time to time because he doesn't really care.

Definitely when he's younger I kind of hear him with something close to Veronica Taylor's Ash voice, haha, though a little bit less...round? I have a hard time describing voices. For older Red, though, I imagine him with still a little bit of that childish gruffness that Taylor's Ash has, but deepened a little into this warm, easy tenor.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
